Horrible day working from home, the electricians are in to sort the kitchen out and I lost power to the study for a while, a bit of washing line extension lead action had me back up and running.
Tedious day preparing for the DR test at the weekend, so I needed to get out and get some air.

A good ride, with an awful head wind from home to Cliffe, then I managed to get KOM on heart attack hill and wybournes.

now for cake icing....

dog

Sunday 9th went by in a blur, and Monday saw me back to work, the daily commute and ride through town on the tiger, kitchen fitters arrived and work has started on the new units.

Well, busy Saturday, glorious walk over the stubble fields with the dog this morning, then home to strip out the kitchen with the two Dads (or the old gits/Chuckle brothers). Old kitchen all gone, ready for the fitters on Monday, a good hour or two spent in the garden and now to have a shower and freshen up before chinese tonight with the parents. Also lost my King of the Mountains on heart attack hill, will need to push by there tomorrow and try to smash it again!

Morning walk with the dog to St Marys Hoo, then a good 20+ mile loop to Shorne on the bike. Then a ride in the sprite over to collect sophie at Lower Halstow on the barge.

Ok, now to start using this as a proper log and diary. Today: Great walk in the morning, beautiful sunny day, swimming with Jack, Sophie ang mum in law. Mowed the lawn, picked blackberries in the garden. Evening walk with the dog to go rabitting in the Holland's fields to weed out the mixie sufferers.

Walk 15th Feb 2012

OK - lets crack on again with the walks and goings on from North Kent.

Had a day off work, and with a great lie in, drank too much tea (that's not really possible), and went out for a walk. This is another of those great opportunistic walks, sheep have been moved off the area and we can get down to the old sea wall. Lovely open fields and all the snow and ice has gone.
